007 - [VIDEO] The rules of someone else's game

[As is his way, Facilier has made himself as scarce as possible on the network, while strangers filtered through in their droves. He's kept an eye on things, in case anyone he knows personally appears, threatening the very little life he's made for himself here. Luckily no one has shown, and he can breathe easily once more.

As always, he smiles amicably at the camera. Shadow, on the other hand mirrors the restlessness he's hiding, flitting back and forth around the library where Facilier has set himself up with a pile of books.]

So, that that? Our little guests have vanished into wherever they belong again? Not that they ever leave, I guess, but still. Wonder what the whole point of these little moments are? Maybe the Admiral thinks they're come kinda randomised visitation.

Anyone ever have someone they didn't want show up? Come on, don't be shy, ya'll can't have just had wanted visitors.

Has the boy spoken to you yet? ['The boy' being Merlin. He wants his talisman back, and he's getting antsy about it.]

Yeah. Pretty sure most of the people don't, but I got a few religious friends.

I worship the Loa. They're much more powerful and there's more of them.

But they ain't the devil, right? I don't have to worry about them?

Oh, I'd worry about them plenty. If ya'll got on their bad side...well. They ain't exactly forgiving.

Who's on your side? Are demons?

Suppose y'all could call them that. [He snaps his fingers, and Shadow moves, in view of the camera, looming ominously. ]

They call me the Shadowman for a reason.

She edges away.]

[Facilier smiles. It's not a nice smile. Of course, he won't outright threaten her, Kira would take away his luxuries, but he can play with her, cleverly.]

You plannin' on giving me a reason to?

[The expression on her face pretty much says that she already did-- or, at least, she thinks she did.]

[Facilier will just SMILE again, then turn the video off.

He hasn't got to play with anyone for a while. He's missed this.]
